I have been a licensed psychologist since 1978, and practicing in California since 1988.  I have received advanced training at the San Francisco Institute for Psychoanalytic Studies in 2001 in psychoanalytic psychotherapy.  However, I have also studied other approaches to psychotherapy, including paradoxical interventions, client-centered therapy, transpersonal models, and Eastern thinking.  My style is to work gently and with compassion for the challenges that you face.
